When you’ve had great success at one firm, it’s always fun to give it another go at a new firm. Sometimes, one of the key things is to “put the band back together.” Our client, a biotech firm based in NJ, boasts a leadership team that has had 2 major successes under their belt. And they’re poised for an expansion.

 

Reporting to the newly hired CFO, the VP of Finance role will be involved with leading the finance team, the creation of board materials, and all of the regular budgeting and reporting. Since they’re a public company, you’ll also be responsible for all aspects of stock administration, be the lynchpin for the auditors, and streamline the finance function.

Previous experience in biotech or pharma is helpful, but not necessary. More importantly, you will be key in defining and implementing best practices for the finance group. CPA in good standing is required.
